Did you know that RCS offers an online, self-paced course to help you and your team achieve a greater understanding of GSelector and Zetta? It’s called RCS Academy and it will guide you through the basics, develop good habits, use real life user examples and dives into some of the advanced aspects of each piece of software. During this week’s RCS Live, we talked about how it was built, and we took a couple a practice quizzes to give you a glimpse into RCS Academy.
Users can enroll at any time by accessing our RCS Academy home page here. There, you’ll also find a list of our RCS GSelector and Zetta Certified users. Let’s talk about the process. Since it’s an online, self-paced course, RCS Academy users can learn on their time. Each section is broken down by a short video and followed with a Knowledge Check to make the user has properly digested the previous information. If you find yourself failing a Knowledge Check, although it’s not required to continue the course, it’s a good indication that you should re-watch that section. After a mix of videos and Knowledge Checks, users will have to pass a Final Quiz to move onto the next section of RCS Academy. Finally, at the end, there is a Final Exam featuring questions accumulated throughout the Certification Program. Once a user passes the Final Exam, they are officially GSelector or Zetta Certified and can opt in to our Master RCS Certified User list. We highly encourage users to add RCS GSelector or Zetta Certified to their resume skills and LinkedIn profiles. You’ll also receive a signed letter of completion from our CEO and author of the course.
Each of Knowledge Checks, Final Quizzes and Final Exam are completely randomized. Not only do we rotate the questions, but we also randomize the answers. One user may have Question 2’s answer as A whereas for another user, that would be Question 5 and the answer is D. In addition, a third user might not even see that question as part of their test.
If you’re a manager overseeing new RCS users and you want to make sure to monitor their learning, we also offer a Manager Role within RCS Academy, so that Administrators can track the progress of the learners. This is especially helpful for colleges and universities who need to monitor their student’s progress.
