The 2012 NAB show for many people was the best in recent memory. Attendance numbers from NAB are about the same as 2011, but the energy and excitement for radio was above and beyond expectations. Why is this true?

Advertising buys and rates are both up according to research. Radio reaches everywhere on our planet and captures attention from young to old – advertisers realize this.
New improvements in technology are being delivered every day and many of those advancements are landing in hand-held devices. RCS dedicated its R&D effort to harnessing the power of smart phones and tablets with software programs such as, iPush, RCSremote and the brand new, Selector2Go—all showcased during NAB week.
Internet station platforms take your station’s brand around the world, again increasing revenue potential playout, scheduling and traffic have taken this leap as well, with improvements that include splits, WANcasting and cloud applications enabling users to work from anywhere.
