It’s been a couple months since we last had RCS CTO Chip Jellison on for a Questions and Answers in a Time of Remote Workflows and like the last time, he did not disappoint. Viewers were given a deeper developmental look into Zetta Cloud, hybrid workflows and an insider forecast into RCS Cloud initiatives and product enhancements.
In additional to the new features that were part of previous Facebook Lives, Chip demonstrated some of the upcoming Zetta Cloud enhancements, including the Log navigation aids, future implementation of Zetta Cloud Splits, Jobs, Primary vs. Secondary players, Emergency Playlists and ETM Fill Tags. Continuing the “War on Clicks,” many of the Zetta Cloud workflows are intended to avoid multiple user interactions and maintaining an efficient, clear user workflow. The Log navigation tool allows users to quickly identify and insert a collection of elements like ETMs, Comments or Voice Tracks, again, while maintaining less clicks by the user.
Attendees also were able to ask Chip questions regarding any RCS product. Highlights included isolating Zetta Cloud sequencers and how each station can be played individually (like a local FM using Zetta and an HD2 broadcasting from Zetta Cloud), Zetta Cloud vs. Zetta2GO logins, auditioning audio and more.
Finally, Chip wrapped up the hour with insights to RCS’s future Cloud initiatives. Continuing the concept of hybrid workflows, we’re looking into ways to make our products not only more cloud accessible, but cloud integrated, maximizing the efficiency of moving away from UI to using Internet browsers that can control your station’s data.
We have more guests lined up as we continue with our RCS Questions and Answers During a Time of Remote Workflows. Expect future videos on Zetta Sports Broadcasts Tip & Tricks, GSelector 4.8.1 & 4.9.0 enhancements, Aquira2GO and more. As always, direct message us if you have any questions or looking for workflow solutions. Don’t forget to follow RCS on www.Facebook.com/RCSSoundSoftware for updates and we’ll see you next Thursday at 11am ET.
